A hybrid version which combines the advantages of both models, resulting in a 20-round magazine and very accurate automatic fire. The rifle's 2x scope is tailored for short-range use. Uses 9x39 mm ammo.

The "Avalanche" Vintar is a variant of the Vintar BC that was cut from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

This Vintar BC would be made as an hybrid of the stock Vintar and the SA Avalanche assault rifle, resulting in lower scope magnification, higher mag capacity and accuracy.

As with all other cut weapon variants of the game, the only remnants of this weapon are its name (st_wpn_vintorez_m1) and description (st_wpn_vintorez_m1_descr) found in the st_items_weapons.xml file.

According to design documents, it was meant to appear somewhere in the Agroprom.
