The .45 Automatic Colt Pistol [11.43x23mm] round is a rimless pistol cartridge. It was designed by John Browning in 1904 and was used by Colt in their M1911 pistol. Eventually, this cartridge became the US armed services' official pistol and submachinegun round for the next 70 years.

  • In scripts, they are referred to as ammo_11.43x23mm rather than the expected ammo_.45. This can be somewhat confusing for rookie modders who aren't familiar with their weaponry.
