12G Shell

An example of a 12 Gauge shotgun shell.

12 Gauge shells are rounds that fit into a shotgun with a 12 Gauge bore. They will either fire shot shells, which spray a barrage of pellets, or slugs, which fire a single heavy projectile that relies more on it's weight to destroy body armor rather than bullet velocity.
