A generic variety of [[Shotguns|shotgun]] shell that is 18.5mm wide and 70mm long (.729in wide and 2.5in long) and usually contains 8 pellets that exit the barrel of a shotgun in a cone shaped pattern when fired. It is absolutely devistating at point-blank range but becomes less and less effective the farther away the target is restricting it to short range ONLY! Most opponents will be knocked back a conciderable distance when killed by buckshot at very short range owing to its extreme stopping power, even heavily armored opponents will be killed quickly if struck several times at point-blank range. Only the [[Pseudogiant]] is tough enough to survive having a fully upgraded shotgun ([[SPSA14]] in particular) unloaded into it's face and survive. Helicopter gunships are perhaps the worst target possible for a shotgun as it will rip you to peices before you can inflict any damage to it. |
