⚫ | The 9x19mm cartridge was made in the German Empire (Now Germany) and developed by Georg Luger and introduced in 1902 originally made for the German Luger pistol. The 9x19mm rounds also had the designation "Parabellum" adjacent to it, from the latin phrase "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Si_vis_pacem,_para_bellum Si vis pacem, para bellum]" which was latin for: "If you seek peace, prepare for war". Today the 9x19mm cartridge is one of the most popular pistol and SMG cartridges used world wide. |
