You have provided plenty of help to Duty, and this has earned you the respect of Duty fighters and their friends. But keep in mind that not everyone in the Zone is a Duty fan.

A Friend of Duty is an achievement/trophy in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat earned for maxing out one's reputation with Duty.
Earning the Achievement[]
The four following quests must be completed in Duty's favor:
- Duty warehouse: Sell Morgan's PDA to Shulga.
- Duty History: Sell General Tachenko's PDA to Shulga.
- Monolith survivors: Have Strider and his group recruited into Duty.
- In Search of Magpie: Inform Shulga about Flint.
This achievement is mutually exclusive with A Friend of Freedom and A Man of Balance.
Consequences[]
- A PSZ-9d Duty armor is deposited into the player's personal locker in Yanov station.
- Nitro offers a 15% discount on his services. This is cumulative with the 20% discount obtained by completing the mission Radio equipment.
- Hawaiian raises prices by 10%. He also begins selling high tier Duty equipment such as RP-74s and SA Avalanches, his stock can be further improved by obtaining the achievement A Wealthy Client.
- Relations with Duty are improved. Duty fighters may assist the player against hostile NPCs or mutants in the open.
- Relations with Freedom suffer greatly. Freedom squads encountered in the open may be hostile to the player. This can be averted by obtaining the achievement Diplomat, or completing at least one mission for Trapper.
- The Duty ending is obtained at the end of the game, where Duty evicts Freedom from Yanov station and kills Loki.
