You have provided plenty of help to Freedom, and this has earned you the respect of Freedom fighters and their friends. But keep in mind that not everyone in the Zone is a Freedom fan.

A Friend of Freedom is an achievement/trophy in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat earned for maxing out one's reputation with Freedom.
Earning the Achievement[]
The four following quests must be completed in Freedom's favor:
- Duty warehouse: Sell Morgan's PDA to Loki.
- Duty History: Sell General Tachenko's PDA to Loki.
- Monolith survivors: Have Strider and his group recruited into Freedom.
- In Search of Magpie: Inform Loki about Flint.
This achievement is mutually exclusive with A Friend of Duty and A Man of Balance.
Consequences[]
- A Freedom Guard bodysuit is deposited into the player's personal locker in Yanov station.
- Hawaiian offers a 20% discount on his wares (but buys the player's equipment at the same prices as before). He also begins selling high tier Freedom equipment such as SVDm-2s and GP37s, his stock can be further improved by obtaining the achievement A Wealthy Client.
- Nitro raises his prices by 15%. This is cumulative with the 20% discount obtained by completing the mission Radio equipment.
- Relations with Freedom are improved. Freedom fighters may assist the player against hostile NPCs or mutants in the open.
- Relations with Duty suffer greatly. Duty squads encountered in the open may be hostile to the player. This can be averted by obtaining the achievement Diplomat, or completing at least one mission for Trapper.
- The Freedom ending is obtained at the end of the game, where Freedom evicts Duty from Yanov station and kills Shulga.
