The Army medkit, or Army first aid kit, is a medkit used for treating battle wounds, appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Overview[]

The army first aid kit contains medicine for faster blood coagulation, as well as painkillers, antibiotics, immunity stimulators, and more. It is usually used by members of the Military (including the Spetsnaz and therefore Military Stalkers), and members of the Duty faction.

Army Medkits are rarer and more effective than the regular medkits, and are primarily carried by the military. As such, they are quite valuable and selling them can lead to a good monetary gain.

Appearances[]

Shadow of Chernobyl[]

A specialized medical set to fight against physical damage and blood loss. In it is included a component for blood coagulation, antibiotics, immunal stimulators, and painkillers.
― In-game description

Army first aid kits are far more effective at restoring health, and also minimize bleeding, like a more effective bandage. However, they're a bit more expensive and rarer.

Acquisition[]

Army first aid kits can be found on most veteran and expert stalkers, as well as most Military soldiers, used in place of regular medkits. They can be only purchased from Petrenko after completing the mission Obtain an Bulldog 6 from Freedom.

It can be found in the following stashes:

Clear Sky[]

A specialized medical kit for dealing with physical injuries and bleeding. Packed full of blood coagulants, painkillers, antibiotics and immunostimulants.
― In-game description

Like the standard Medkit, the Army Medkit received a slight overhaul in effectiveness, usually healing over three quarters of Scar's health in one go. However, they're accordingly harder to find.

The game also features a unique, unusable army medkit known as NPR-21p special medkit, which must be stolen from the Military checkpoint in the Cordon as part of an optional side mission provided by local Loners.

Acquisition[]

The army medkit is sold by Mitay after joining Duty, and by Sakharov as well as the Duty trader in the Red Forest. It can be occasionally looted from the bodies of Duty stalkers and soldiers, usually higher-ranking ones.

One is rewarded to the player by Semyon Lambee for completing his side mission Find the PDA.

Call of Pripyat[]

A specialized medical kit for providing first aid to combat casualties. The kit includes blood coagulants based on menadione, painkillers, antibiotics and immunostimulants, as well as a kit for removing bullets and fragments from the body. This medkit is issued to army personnel as standard and is sometimes used by Duty forces.
― In-game description

In Call of Pripyat, Army Medkits are arguably the most effective of the three. Not only do they restore more health and halt bleeding quicker than the Medkit or the Scientific medkit, the Army medkit also does it all in half the time compared to the other two aid kits.

Acquisition[]

They are only sold by Bonesetter after completing at least two missions for Duty in Yanov, but most Veterans and Experts from most factions - barring Bandit and some Mercenaries - will carry at least one. Each of the nine Monolith stashes holds three army medkits in reserve, for a total of 27 medkits after searching all the stashes.

One can be found in Tremor's room in the Skadovsk, and one can be obtained by returning Sokolov's Note to Lieutenant Sokolov.

The player can also ask for medical supplies from Lieutenant Rogovets in Pripyat after each mission, which will usually include three army medkits as well as an anti-rad, bandage and food supplies.
