One message stands out among a handful of others. The sender is called Jackal and the message reads: "My man at the research institute will recommend that you lead the expedition. He will have to hire your boys to guard the bunker. That will make things easier for you. Remember, the client doesn't want ANY information about the operation of X-designated objects to reach the scientists. If it does, we will not be able to leave the Zone. Don't let me down, Black."

Black's PDA is a PDA that appears in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Acquiring[]
This PDA is carried by Black, the leader of the Mercenaries guarding the Scientists' bunker in Yanov, and appears during the mission Last developments when he and his team ambush the player after acquiring the Administrative documents. It can be sold to Hermann for 2500 RU, although it is not necessary to complete the mission.
It is worth noting that Black's PDA can only be turned in when giving Hermann the documents; if the player grabs Black's PDA after completing the mission, the player will not be able to obtain a reward for it, as there will be no dialogue options with Hermann to give him the PDA. Unlike other PDAs, this item is only considered a quest item until the mission Last developments has been completed, allowing the player to discard it if obtained after the mission so as not to have it stuck in their inventory.
