The Bloodsucker's resting place is a location in the Red Forest in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

Description[]

This seemingly ordinary place within the Red Forest is home to a powerful elder Bloodsucker. It is is distinguished by a pale gray coat. The mutant often respawns at this location. Normally, players can accidentally visit this place when going to the Bridge to Limansk after their mission in the Army Warehouses. When the player enters the restingm place, the Bloodsucker reveals its presence with a howl and immediately attacks the player. At higher difficulty levels it can kill a player in two or three swipes. It is advisable to bring a shotgun for this location.

Notes[]

  • There is small chance that after killing the renegades in the mines, Duty may come here. Once their squad occupies this location, the elder bloodsucker or any other mutants will stop respawning here.
  • The bloodsucker can launch attacks aimed at the squads at the a squad of individuals at the Witch Circle, and without the player's help, the stalkers will most likely be killed.
  • Rarely, the mutant can also attack renegades in the mines. And he can do this even before the player gets the “Compass” for the Forester.
  • Sometimes snorks or pseudo-dogs may also rest here. Moreover, the bloodsucker does not attack the mutants.
  • Most likely, it was this bloodsucker that caused the death of the stalkers in front of the gate from the task “Go to the SOS signal.”
