Bonesetter (also known as Chiropractor in some translations) (Kostoprav / Костоправ) is a Loner medic appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. He also appears in the book S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Southern Comfort, as a medic again.
Background
Bonesetter, along with Zulu, are the only 2 known people in Yanov who could sense when an emission is approaching before the signs even begin to manifest, as such he regularly announces approaching emissions on stalkers' PDAs. He is also one of the senior residents of Yanov station and is known to be trustworthy among the residents, never gossiping and always advising free stalkers to stay out of Duty and Freedom's war.

Call of Pripyat
Bonesetter is the medic at Yanov station. He can heal the player, trade medical supplies and plays an important role in the personal box theft mission.
Despite the fact he stays on Freedom half of the station he is strictly neutral and will often advise the player to not favor either faction. As such, the achievement A Man of Balance means discounted prices when trading with him.
Southern Comfort
He becomes the medic at Bagram Air Base after the "New" Zone appears at Afghanistan. He heals up the main character, Captain (Major at the book) Tarasov.
