The Bridge to Limansk is a location in the Red Forest in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

Overview[]

An old bridge which crosses a radioactive river and leads to a tunnel towards Limansk. Shortly before the events of the game, the bridge was raised by members of Duty and Freedom, leaving Renegades as the only people left at the bridge.

The only fully-intact building at the location is a small, two-story guard house at the east end of the bridge. To the north of this building is a tunnel, and to the east is a broken out section of wall where the player can enter the forest for the first time. On the west side of the bridge are Renegades, the remains of a couple of buildings, and the tunnel to Limansk. The entire area, including the river and tunnel, is littered with broken down vehicles. The river here is extremely radioactive and lethal.

Appearances[]

Clear Sky[]

In Clear Sky, the bridge is one of the first locations visited by the player in the Red Forest. Initially, the player must attempt to apprehend Strelok, but he manages to get away after a group of Loners ambushes Scar at the bridge. Lebedev soon realizes the only other way to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is through Limansk, and instructs Scar to talk to Forester about the bridge.

After Leshiy and his men are rescued from the Space Anomaly, the player and Clear Sky must provide cover fire while Leshiy and his mercenaries lower the bridge, as the Renegades attempt to stop them. Once the bridge is lowered, a contingent of Clear Sky fighters remain at the bridge to cover the entrance, while Lebedev, Scar and the rest go to Limansk.

Loot[]

On the bank of the river is a box containing a Bubble artifact and other supplies.

The upper level of the guard house has a crate with supplies. On the ground floor of the guard house are lockers with medical kits.
