Bring the bulletproof vest is an optional, non-repeatable mission featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Description[]
Some of the grunts are sporting a new type of bulletproof vests. The inside lining is soaked in some healing ointment or something like that... anyways, it makes small wounds heal up very fast. And imagine what luck: just the other day ten of those guys ran into Yantar, and only six returned, with the three on their shoulders. You follow? One of them got left behind. If you get us his bulletproof vest, we'll examine it and make us a lot of them too.

Acquiring the mission[]
The mission is given by Lukash, the leader of the Freedom faction.
Completing the mission[]
In order to complete the given mission, the player must acquire the unique variant of the Berill-5M called Healing Beril and bring it back to Lukash. The suit can be found inside the Yantar complex and its position is indicated on the map in PDA.
Reward[]
The reward is the Guardian of Freedom Suit.
Notes[]
- The player can always ditch the mission and keep the Healing Beril for themselves if they don't find the reward suit as valuable. Or wear the suit until it's worn out then trade it over for the brand new Guardian of Freedom suit.
- If Lukash dies after the mission, the player can loot Healing Beril off his body, suggesting that he wears it after the mission is completed.
