The Crooked beam is a location in the Army Warehouses featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.
Overview[]
The location is found on top of a hill in the central part of the Army Warhouses. It contains a campfire and the remains of a UAZ-469 and is frequently visited by stalkers to rest.

Shadow of Chernobyl[]
In Shadow of Chernobyl, the Crooked beam is home to a group of stalkers including Wolf, who appears there after the Documents from Lab X18, part 4 have been retrieved. Wolf is usually accompanied by at least three other stalkers, Father Diodor, Master and Smartass who are all the targets of assassination missions. Lukash may provide the player with a mission requiring the player to fend off a mercenary assault on the camp.
Clear Sky[]
The location appears in Clear Sky, although it does not play a significant role in the game. It is home to groups of Loners.
