Persistent rumors about the old over-the-horizon radar station include stories of experiments on the population, bizarre radio interference, and brain-scorching radiation. Now that the route is no longer hindered by anomalous fields, certain daredevils frequently try to explore the enormous antenna. Their attempts are usually thwarted not by mysterious signals but by ordinary bullets fired by IPSF snipers. The military diligently guards the Duga, preventing anyone from discovering its purpose.
