The Explosives with a timer are a mission item in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Description[]
This item only appears during the mission Radio interference, and can be retrieved from Sergeant Yarmoshuk's body. It must be planted onto the Pripyat Kindergarten's main door to blow it open, which is the only way inside the building. There is only one charge found in the entire game and it can only be used on the Kindergarten's main door.
Once planted on the main door, it will have a five-second delay fuse. The explosion can kill the player if they are standing close to the door, so the player should stand clear of the blast area after planting the charge.
