― In-game description

The Storming Obokan is an unique Obokan assault rifle available in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Description[]

This modified Obokan features an integral GP-25 Koster grenade launcher, as well as much higher reliability, taking 33333 shots to fully degrade the weapon - this trait is shared with the Akm 74/2U Special, the Viper 5 9x18 and the Noiseless Viper.

Locations[]

This weapon is held by a Bandit named Friar. Brome, in the 100 Rads bar, provides a mission to give him back this weapon, which was offered to him personally by General Voronin, but he lost it after panicking during an operation in the Dark Valley. Friar can be found in multiple areas, although the player is most likely to find him in the Agroprom Underground.

If the player would like to get the weapon after completing Brome's mission, drop a higher quality rifle (such as any NATO rifle like the IL 86) near him on the ground. He will drop the Storming Obokan and pick up the rifle the player dropped instead. After the player regained the weapon, exit then return to the map and Brome will offer his quest again. As soon as the player return the weapon to him again, he will drop it, again. This means Brome's quest can be repeated over and over.
