The "Sunrise suit bandit" is a character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

A bandit, whose name comes from the fact that he wears a Sunrise suit instead of the usual Bandits attire, as part of a scheme to lure unsuspecting stalkers towards an ambush. His name is randomized.

During the player's first visit to the Garbage, a map marker reading "SOS signal. Probably a wounded stalker." will appear on the player's PDA map, most of the times in the ruins of the Flea Market. There, the player can find the bandit seemingly injured, calling over the player for help. Approaching him will cause him and his bandit companion, who is located atop the market, to open fire on the player.
If the player ignores the bandit the first time, he may be found with a SOS signal at another location, such as near the entrance to the Agroprom Underground. He may also be killed by mutants before the player gets a chance to interact with him.
