Not only is he a lazy bastard once he's had a drink - "it's better here, we need to take it easy" - but then he goes and takes a run at me and Joker, saying we're young and ain't got a clue... Heh heh... Joker's a piece of work, too: gets pissed off, grabs his bag and disappears. While I was trying to calm Cardan down, he left and hell if I know where he went. And what I am supposed to do? Drink with that senile moron? No thank you! His vodka is shit... Eww... And to think how promising things were at the beginning...

Barge (Barzha / Баржа) is a stalker who appears only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Background[]
Barge is an experienced loner stalker who befriended two other stalkers, Cardan and Joker, and has been traveling together with the two for some times. Before the events of Call of Pripyat, he and his friends parted ways after a heated argument. Barge died shortly afterwards in an anomaly below the Burnt farmstead in Zaton.

His body can be found in the Caves under the burnt farmstead, on the northern part of the anomaly, vertically under the road. He wears an upgraded Sunrise suit that can be found on his corpse alongside other loot, including Barge's PDA.
Related missions[]
- Three Comrades: The player must retrieve Barge's PDA and bring it back to Cardan to tell him the bad news.

- Barge's body is the sole body in the game from which a suit can be taken.
