Experimental prototype of the Fort gun[sic]
Shadow of Chernobyl In-game description

The Fort-15 is a unique weapon featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Overview[]

The Fort-15 is a modified Fort-12Mk2 pistol which features an enlarged magazine holding three more bullets than the stock Fort-12Mk2 (hence the name). It also has a large increase in reliability, taking thrice as many shots to fully degrade the weapon from 100% to 0%. The Fort-15 has a higher magazine capacity and better fire rate than most weapons encountered in the Cordon.

Acquisition[]

This unique pistol is held by Major Kuznetsov, who is found at the Railway bridge in the Cordon. If he is killed, along with the rest of his squad, Spetsnaz troops will take over and they will not accept payment for passage.

Trivia[]

  • This weapon was the target of a cut mission, Find the perfected pistol[1]. The pistol was to be brought to Sidorovich[2]. The scripted mission is present in the source files, but is commented out[3].
  • There is a real weapon called the Fort-15, but it has little in common with the Fort-12 unlike the in-game weapon.
