Whew we're done with those mutants

Fox is a minor character and part of the main quest in Shadow of Chernobyl.
Background
A Loner with some experience, Fox is first encountered at the Cordon. After being wounded by a pack of blind dogs, the Marked One rescues Fox. Fox then reveals some information about Strelok in return. He has a brother, Seriy, who is also a Stalker.
Location
Fox is found in the abandoned farmstead just north of the railway bridge in the Cordon. After being healed, he will usually stay by the fire in the same building. However there is a good chance he will die from the wandering packs of Blind dogs that will pass by the building.
Call of Pripyat
In Call of Pripyat, it is revealed Fox died before the events of Call of Pripyat took place. He was the former partner of Trapper who operated in Yanov as mutant hunters. He was attacked by a Chimera and died from his wounds after Trapper scared off the chimera by wounding it. Trapper gives a job that requires you to eliminate the very Chimera that killed Fox and almost killed Trapper.
