This PDA appears only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Acquiring
This PDA can be found on General Tachenko's body after a Space Anomaly releases him and his crew by the Cooling Tower when approached with a Svarog detector taken out. When the Player finds this PDA another mission - Duty History is initiated. It is up to the player either to give it to Owl for 2500 RU, give to Loki for 4000 RU, an SGI-5k, and 300 5.56x45 mm rounds or to Lt. Col. Shulga for 4000 RU, a Tunder S14, 60 9x39 mm SP-6 rounds, and 2 VOG-25 Grenades. This PDA is vital in obtaining either Friend of Duty, Friend of Freedom or A Man of Balance Achievements.
Trivia
- In the English dub of the game, a gunshot isn't heard at the end of the recording when General Tachenko committed suicide. One however, can be heard in the Russian dub.
- In the Russian dub, General Tachenko talks about returning to "upper Syberian Tundra ... places full with wild" as a destination for his final "journey", its right before the "that´s justice" sentence. This is cut out from English version.
