The Jellyfish is a common artifact featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, and in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl..

Appearances[]

Shadow of Chernobyl[]

Is formed in the Springboard. Forms a weak protective field whose side effect is a slight radiation. The artifact is widespread and not very valuable.
― In-game description

The Jellyfish increases bullet protection by 2%, but has a 5% radiation increase. The Jellyfish isn't particularly useful and considering how common it is, it would work better as an monetary item.

The Jellyfish is a sought-after artifact by Professor Sakharov (Find the "Jellyfish" artifact) and Sidorovich (Find the Jellyfish artifact).

Locations[]

The Jellyfish is a common artifact in gravitational anomalies. Many of these can be found in the Garbage, Agroprom, Army Warehouses, Red Forest, Pripyat and the first part of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It is also not uncommon to see rookies such as Bandits having a Jellyfish in their inventory.

A Jellyfish is rewarded by Wolf for rescuing Nimble from the Bandits without requiring help from Petruha.

It can be found in the following stashes:

Clear Sky[]

This gravitational artifact absorbs radioactive particles, reducing the effects of radiation on the body. Very common in the Zone.
― In-game description

The Jellyfish returns in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. It now provides a -2 in radiation. It is a quite common artifact and a player could use these to cure radiation without the use of vodka and anti-rads, as well as using it along with any artifact producing radiation.

Locations[]

The Jellyfish artifact can be found in gravitational anomalies. One can be found in the first anomaly area the player encounters in the Swamps, during the first mission for Lebedev.

Call of Pripyat[]

This gravitational artifact attracts and absorbs radioactive particles, reducing the effects of radiation on the body. Very common in the Zone and is unofficially used outside the Zone for treating acute radiation sickness in exceptional circumstances.
― In-game description

The Jellyfish returns in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, having the same effects as its Clear Sky rendition.

Locations[]

The Jellyfish may be found in any gravitational anomalies; the Claw anomaly in Zaton spawns one by default, which is located in a small tunnel near a Springboard and can be reached by jumping from the "claw" to the tunnel.

A Jellyfish can be found in the Pripyat 1 underpass, in the large dome room. It is to the north-west of the room, in a red container facing the door to the next area, along with two vodkas.

The Jellyfish is commonly sold by Beard after completing the Compass mission.

Heart of Chornobyl[]

A common artifact found in gravitational anomalies. The Jellyfish can attract or repel radioactive particles depending on the surrounding environment.
