Journeyman

The Journeyman is a minor character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Background[]

A rookie loner in the Cordon, he has died in the vicinity of the Railway bridge shortly before the events of the game. Sidorovich calls him one of his debtors^{[quote. 1]}.

The Journeyman's body is found just by the southern entrance of the tunnel near the bridge. After Sidorovich gives the mission to travel to the Garbage, he will direct the player towards the Journeyman for information about the passage through the embankment. Searching the Journeyman's body adds a log entry titled "Dead rookie's PDA", which indicates the rookie tried to study the pattern of the moving electro anomaly inside the tunnel, since he didn't have the money to bribe Kuznetsov.

His name is randomized, and his appearance is chosen at random among ten different profiles.
