Lieutenant Kirillov is a Military engineer serving under the command of Colonel Kovalsky in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Background[]

Kirilov is one of few survivors of Operation Fairway. He functions as the platoon's mechanic, quartermaster, and communications officer. He is friends with Lieutenant Rogovents, the group's medic. He also claims to have headaches whenever an emission occurs, making him one of the few people in the Zone to sense an emission before the visible early warning signs would manifest.

Call of Pripyat[]

Kirillov is always found inside the Laundromat, except for the final mission where he takes part in the fight. He will repair all of the player's gear for free though he cannot upgrade anything. He will also give out two types of ammunition after every few missions completed for Kovalsky. He offers ammunition of all calibers, except for OG-7V warheads, and he gives out the two types of ammo per caliber except for MG rounds and sniper rounds. He is under strict orders to conserve ammunition and so the player can only select 2 types of ammo per mission. He can also give the player a Bulat armored suit and a Sphere M12 helmet for free when requesting for body armor, but only once.

Related missions[]

One Shot: Kirillov will escort the player to the vantage point to watch over the meeting, and will inform the player about any movement in the courtyard.
Evacuation: He takes part in the survivors' final push for the Prometheus Movie Theater.

Trivia[]

In the final evacuation, he has a minor bug that may cause him to sometimes only shoot with his pistol even if he has ammunition for his rifle.
- He has another more serious bug where he will not go over to the radio and the doors at the Laundromat stay locked.
His name may be a reference to the Institute scientist "Kirill", a character from the book Roadside Picnic, which inspired the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
