The Beretta 92F (named 'Martha' in-game) is a popular pistol chambered to use 9x19mm parabellum rounds; it is made by Beretta arms, based in Italy. It appears in all three STALKER games, but was extremely rare in Shadow of Chernobyl. The pistol is the only non-unique pistol not listed in the weapons pages of the Special Edition "Zone Survival Guide".

Shadow of Chernobyl

Though being one of the most powerful pistols to use the 9x19mm rounds, it is so rare that there is only 1 known location of the weapon (being this, one can consider this a "unique" weapon). It is found only with Bullet's partner who needs rescuing from the Bandits. If you kill him however, there is a good chance Duty will consider you an enemy. He however returns to the campsite near the entrance to Rostok in the Garbage and there is a slight chance he will be killed by incoming Bandit attacks. The weapon can be fitted with a silencer but has very poor durability and will start to jam frequently very quickly. It also lacks an iron sight. Several of the Duty members there have a Martha as side arm.

Seen with version 1.0005 with an iron sight (!) and works fine, about 400 to 500 rounds can be fired with it before it breaks down, its a good weapon if you use a Silenced Pistol for elimination of Loners.

Clear Sky

The Martha in Clear Sky is much more widespread and commonly employed by stalkers who use a Chaser 13 in tandem. The weapon has decent accuracy and damage, it is lightweight, and now much more reliable as it is more durable. The weapon is cheap to upgrade and maintain, but only a limited amount of technicians can upgrade it. The technicians who can upgrade it include Yar, Thunderov,Garin and Aydar. Its description mentions it is used by American military and law enforcement agencies, so it is safe to assume the variant used in Clear Sky is the American M9 pistol; a custom pistol made by Beretta arms for the US armed forces.

Call of Pripyat

This weapon also appears in Call of Pripyat. It is capable of fully-automatic fire with a 3rd tier upgrade. Its recoil is very easy to manage; this allows skilled users to deliver multiple accurate shots to specific body parts of opponents in a very short time.
