Mi-24 Hind
The Hind Gunship is a Russian made Attack Helicopter that was commissioned in the early 1970s, it is well armed, heavily armored and has the unusual distinction of possessing a small troop transport capacity. The Ukrainian Military is the only faction that has access to these vehicles, many crashed or otherwise disabled Hinds can be encountered throughout the Zone, they are rarely encountered when actually flying but when they do they are extremely dangerous and very tough so it is best to avoid them.

It should be noted that the wing tip pylons that usually carry guided missiles appear to be empty.
Trivia
- A pair appear during the assault on the Chernobyl NPP in Shadow of Chernobyl, one of which offloads a squad of Military Stalkers in Strelok's path. Despite being annihilated in the blowout, the one gunship which strafes the NPP manages to gather enough anomaly data to make the maps used in Operation Fairway.
