Pavlik was a member of Freedom faction during the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

He went into focus during an optional mission given out by Lukash, namely Deal with the snitch that will follow Destroy the Duty company. According to Lukash, Pavlik is selling information to the mercs. Once you've taken the mission, Pavlik can be found at the farmstead to the north of the Army Warehouses. He will originally meet his contact Ara before his meeting was interrupted. Getting too close to Pavlik will cause him to become hostile to player.
Trivia
- Strangely, Pavlik's role is similar to the traitorous commandant Lingov who did the same in Clear Sky; selling information about Freedom in the Dark Valley to the Mercenaries.
