The Preobrazhensky bridge is a location in Zaton in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Overview[]

Call of Pripyat[]

A damaged bridge connecting the Ranger station to the Waste processing station, with a partially collapsed section to the south. The bridge is infested with Vortex anomalies. Some time prior to the events of the game, a military convoy carrying a powerful nerve agent was stranded on the bridge, leaving most of their cargo behind.

Heart of Chornobyl[]

The bridge is located near the Ranger station. Unlike its appearance in Call of Pripyat, it spans the Pripyat River to the east of Zaton, and is partially collapsed on it's west side. The collapsed section cannot be passed by the player, marking the edge of the game map.

Appearances[]

Call of Pripyat[]

The bridge is featured in the mission Bloodsucker Lair where the player must retrieve the nerve agent from the convoy's remains in order to eliminate the bloodsuckers underneath the Krug antenna complex.

After completing this mission, Loners or Bandits may be seen resting underneath the bridge. Mutants can occasionally be encountered either on the bridge itself or in the vicinity.

Despite the large number of anomalies on the bridge, this location does not spawn any kind of artifacts.

Heart of Chornobyl[]

The bridge does not feature significantly in Heart of Chornobyl.
