Purge the freedomers is an optional mission featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Description[]
There's been an increase in the activity of the Freedom patrol in the abandoned village by the military warehouses. Purge the village from fighters. After carrying out this assignment a special reward awaits you.

Acquiring the mission[]
The mission is given by General Voronin, but only if living Freedom members are present within the Bloodsucker Village. The original three will leave perma-bodies that inhibit respawns, though destroying either of the two randomly named Freedomers in Murk's camp via nearby Vortex anomalies will enable respawns to the village that allow this mission to become obtainable (and repeatable) through Voronin.
Completing the mission[]
This mission requires the player to kill the three Freedom members located in the Bloodsucker village in Army Warehouses. All of the members are equipped with NATO assault rifles. The group is lead by expert stalker called Murk.
Reward[]
The player will be awarded with Sniper VLA, a unique variant of VLA special assault rifle and 3 packs of 9x39mm SP5 ammunition. However, player's reputation towards Freedom faction will fall harshly by 220.
