Right, finding materials to use for working with radio equipment is damn near impossible around here. I've used everything I could find and there's nobody supplying any materials here, because you can make more cash selling guns... I heard there could be something left at the cement factory, though...

Radio equipment is a side mission available in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Overview

Nitro, who is found in Yanov station, asks the player to get radio parts from the nearby Cement Factory. The radio parts are found in the tallest building at the cement factory. The player can enter this building by climbing the ladders next to it. On the roof is an elevated part where one can find a stash containing a Tactical helmet, a nice find.

The player can also get inside that building by climbing the ladder on the lowest building, and then following a pipe all the way up to the higher building.

There are a few Electro anomalies on the roof and some Burnt Fuzz anomalies in the building itself, as well as a single Burner anomaly. Make sure to get all the parts on every floor, as the top floor can be accessed only from the rooftop. Getting all parts is not required, but it'll warrant a higher discount from Nitro, and the mission can only be completed by collecting all materials and giving them to Nitro.

The parts that can be found are:

• Textolite base x3
• A can of colophonium x2
• A roll of copper wire x2
• A box of transistors x1
• A pack of capacitors x1

It is easy to find all items by starting from the top level of the facility and then progressively going down floors to find the remaining items:

• From the rooftop, the player should enter the top floor through a ladder; the transistors and the first roll of copper wire are found on tables in the two adjacent rooms.
• Drop down into the floor below through a hole in the top floor (beware of the Burner anomaly). The first textolite base is just by a Burnt Fuzz in the room next to the Burner. Explore the next room for another textolite base and a first can of colophonium.
• Go down the ladder to the floor below, leading to a large room with rusty walls. The capacitors are found on a table just by a window. The second roll of copper wire is found near the staircase that led the player into the room to begin with.
• Drop down the ladder into the lower floor of the large room. The final textolite base in found by a window on a table, and the last can of colophonium is found in a small adjacent room with a Burnt Fuzz in the middle of it.

Reward

The reward is a discount from Nitro. The discount is 2% per item brought back from the factory, and 20% if all items were given. It will also reduce the cost to decrypt Stingray 1's Black Box.
