The Red X8 keycard is a mission item in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Description[]
This keycard is carried by Serbin, a Mercenary who only appears in the mission One Shot. To obtain it, the player must simply successfully kill Serbin during the mission and then retrieve it from his body.
It can be used in Lab X-8 to open a storage room inside the laboratory, which contains a Tunder S14 and various other supplies. It is automatically removed from the player's inventory when used.

It is entirely possible to enter the storage room inside Lab X-8 without the keycard. A demonstration of this glitch is shown in this video.
The glitch requires a specific setup to perform (as of now). This setup is easy to create, albeit easy to mess up. Simply put an item on the floor right in front of the door's seam. Then drop a weapon, preferably a large one, into the seam. The item (shotgun ammo in the video) will force the gun to go into the crack between the door and the wall. The game will force the door to disappear, allowing one to walk inside.
