Canon[]
Games[]
- The following games are canon: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
- In case of conflicting information, newer information overrides old information
- Pre-release builds are not canon, although information from them should be added to the articles under an appropriate heading
- Cut content is not canon, unless otherwise confirmed (e.g. cats)
- Modifications such as Lost Alpha or Anomaly are never to be considered canon, since they're fan works not sanctioned by GSC Game World.
Other media[]
- Information about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe available from other sources (websites, books, comics, interviews) can be considered canon, if it is recognized and/or sanctioned by GSC Game World
These are just guidelines for usual cases. Cases in which consensus cannot be reached should be settled by administrators.
