Scarecrow (Chuchelo / Чучело) is an Expert Loner and a master smuggler appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

A short bio, that was omitted from final version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl game describes him as follows:

Experienced smuggler. For a long time, plied his trade in Africa and South America. The news of the Chernobyl disaster brought him to Ukraine. In a short while, he managed to smuggle hundreds of stuffed mutants out of the restricted area and earned the nickname "Taxidermist". When not "working" in the Zone, he is a successful trader. Loves fancy suits and posh ties, but prefers Soviet guns.

Shadow of Chernobyl

One of the highest ranked Loner unique characters, Scarecrow is commonly high on the scoreboard, especially near the end of the game. Scarecrow doesn't give any missions but carries a unique weapon; a Balance IL 86. Lukash may give the player a mission to assassinate him "For Mother Earth".

Scarecrow is commonly found in two areas; the Army Warehouses and the Wild Territory. In the Army Warehouses, Scarecrow can rarely be found with Wolf in the Stalker camp in the center. In the Wild Territory, Scarecrow can commonly be found in the small house next to the downed helicopter, where Wolfhound is located.
