The Scientists' bunker is a location in the area around Jupiter in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. The analogous location in Heart of Chernobyl is called Scientist Bunker.
Overview[]
A mobile bunker, which can be airdropped by helicopter, and is home to Professor Hermann, Professor Ozersky, and their expedition. The bunker was deployed around Jupiter less than one week before the events of the game[1].
The bunker is guarded by a contingent of mercenaries led by Black, and is home to a few stalkers employed by Hermann, namely Garry, and Topol and his team. In addition, Sokolov, the only survivor of Stingray 4, is also found inside the bunker.
The bunker itself is identical layout-wise to Sakharov's bunker, although it has more rooms. The top of the bunker is accessible through a ladder.

The bunker does not play a role in the main story but is the starting point of all the Ecologists' quests. The player can also trade with Hermann (only after a few side quests have been completed), and access Novikov's repair and upgrade services.
