Lieutenant Sergieyev (or Sergeev in some translations) is a character that appears in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Background[]

Sergieyev is one of the soldiers involved in Operation Fairway and is part of Captain Klimenko's squad. It is unknown which Stingray he was assigned to.

Appearances[]

Call of Pripyat[]

Sergieyev is one of the survivors of Operation Fairway encountered in Pripyat. He is sitting on a bed in the main room of the Laundromat, near his team leader. Like most of the soldiers, he cannot be interacted with; instead, if the player attempts to speak with him, he will advise the player to speak to Kovalsky.

Sergieyev and his squad go missing shortly afterwards after being sent on a reconnaissance mission (while the player was out securing the Gauss rifle) following a strange communication, prompting the Colonel to send the player out to investigate. The Major soon discovers the bodies of Sergieyev and his squadmates at the coordinates of the last transmission, having been apparently taken out by a Monolith squad.

Later in the story, when the player eliminates a controller that manipulated Lieutenant Stetsenko into suicide, Kovalsky deduces that Sergieyev and his teammates were not killed by the Monolith but were forced to shoot each other by the controller.

Trivia[]
