Skif's honorary PTM. A somewhat painful reminder of the army that became a comfortable, familiar weapon.
In-game description
Skif's Pistol is a unique PTM appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Overview[]
Skif's Pistol is identical in stats to a standard PTM pistol, but has infinite durability. It can be upgraded and repaired by all technicians.
Acquisition[]
Skif's Pistol is given to the player at the start of the game, and cannot be removed from the inventory as it is marked as a quest item.
Upgrades[]
Prices based on Stalker difficulty.
Using lightweight parts reduces weight without compromising reliability.
|
Minimizes the gap between the barrel and the bullet to improve the efficiency of barrel gases.
|
Reduces bullet deterioration within the barrel to preserve its intended design characteristics.
|
Notes[]
- In game version 1.1.3 there was a way to lose Skif's Pistol by switching to it just as a Burer was about to yank another weapon from your hands. This was fixed in patch 1.2.
- Skif will pull out and use the pistol in several cutscenes. Even if you upgrade it, the cutscene version will always have the default appearance.
