The Sniper SGI is a modified SGI 5k assault rifle featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Overview[]
The Sniper SGI features an integrated SUSAT scope. This is rather important since the regular SGI 5k can't be mounted with any type of optic, limiting its long range capabilities. The integrated SUSAT scope has greater magnification than regular detachable ones, and the weapon can still have the grenade launcher attachment as usual. Like most unique weapons, it also has much higher durability.

Only two Sniper SGIs exist in the game; each one being held by a Freedom guard (Leshiy and Twig) at the entrance of the Military base in the Army Warehouses. To acquire this weapon without harming one's reputation with Freedom, the player can roll explosive barrels scattered all around the warehouse area next to the guards, then detonate them with bullets.
