Stingray 5: investigate the crash site is a main mission in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Description[]

Stingray 5: investigate the crash site is one of five missions that serve as the basis for the story line. These missions can be completed in any order. The Stingray 5 helicopter is located on a small peninsula in the middle of a swamp and the crash site is surrounded by anomalies. However, the site can be reached safely by starting from the tunnel directly to the east and using the chain of southern islands, staying along the south shore of each island. Near the wreckage, one can find a footlocker contained a Noiseless pistol (PB1s) and other supplies.

When reaching Stingray 5 and performing a search, a cutscene plays with Degtyarev discovering burned out electronics. At the end of the cutscene, one of two this happen:

If the player has not investigated Stingray 4, the mission updates to Stingray 5: find the reason for electronic burn out.
If the player has investigated Stingray 4, the mission is completed and the mission Stingray squad: find the source of the charges which hit the two helicopters is unlocked.
