The Stone Flower is an artifact featured in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
Appearances[]
Born in the Springboard anomaly. This artifact is found in only a few areas of the Zone. The bits of metallic compounds create a beautiful light play. It is very calming to study this artifact at night by the fire.

The Stone Flower increases bullet protection by 3%, and radiation by 5%. Just like the Jellyfish, the advantage is nearly insignificant and the artifact is best sold than used.
Sidorovich is interested in acquiring the artifact since it is sought after by jewellers[quote. 1] and offers an optional side mission to find one.
Acquisition[]
The Stone Flower is an uncommon artifact that can be found in many places around the Zone. The player will also get this artifact as a reward from Nimble for the optional mission Find the perfected suit. There is also one at the Garbage entrance of the Agroprom, left of the road.
It can be looted from the following stashes:
- The extra cash is under the concrete blocks in Garbage
- Government chest, Secret stash in the chest and Hidden safe in Dark Valley
- Chest with goodies, Furnace secret stash, Secret in the tombstone in Army Warehouses
One is rewarded to the player for completing the mission Take radiation measurements provided the player managed to have Kruglov/Semenov take the measurements.
Clear Sky[]
A stone deformed by an extreme gravitational force, this artifact has granite-like properties, can provide moderate protection against psy-emissions, and is radioactive.

The Stone Flower returns in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky as a common artifact providing a light +1 in psi-protection and a +1 in radiation. The Stone Flower barely helps the player as the granted bonus is insignificant for the most part.
Acquisition[]
Gravitational anomaly fields in the Swamps, the Cordon, Garbage and Red Forest spawn this artifact.
It is also the target of an optional side mission given by Clear Sky squad leaders in the Swamps. One must be retrieved from the body of a stalker found by an Electro anomaly near the Southern farm and then taken back to the mission giver to complete it.
Call of Pripyat[]
This artifact is made up of a granite-like stone deformed by an extreme gravitational force, resulting in a crystallized formation that has not been explained by science to date. Can provide moderate protection against psy-emissions and is radioactive.

The Stone Flower returns in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, now providing +3 in psi-protection and +1 in radiation. The bonus itself is little, but could prove helpful for the player when combined with higher bonus psi-protection artifacts.
Acquisition[]
The Stone Flower may be found in gravitational anomaly fields; the Claw anomaly in Zaton spawns one by default. It is also sold by Beard after completing the mission Compass.

- The Stone Flower in Call of Pripyat bears some resemblance to a lotus root, a commonly used root in Japanese cuisine.
