Suggestion Edit

I'm not sure what appears in both games, but I'm wondering if this could be broken up into a 3-tiered list.

One for artifacts that are in Shadow of Chernobyl, one for artifacts that are in Clear Sky, and the third for artifacts that appear in both games.

And should they release a third game, can easily expand the list and on relevant pages that have differing stats on each game, simple put them under their own headings on the one page (or setup a disambiguation system?)

Request of clarification Edit

If an artifact occurs in all three games, should the games be listed in the order of internal chronology or publication? Chikubi 03:14, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Artifacts have evolved with order of publication, not with internal chronology, so unless someone has a valid reason why they shouldn't be placed in that order I'm going to start standardising their pages. Chikubi 12:49, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Wha' ever you think is best. Frankly I'd go with the internal chronology since GSC made the prequel as a 2nd expansion and the sequel as the 3rd expansion, so putting the past in-front of the present is kinda conflicting a little. SHIELD unit 13:37, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

shield has a point on that one , see below Dabur 08:37, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I took some time to reply, npov is something i need to learn :)

On the one hand you have the lore which suggests internal chronology, allowing users to extrapolate that after x emission x artifacts are rare/common.

But, the lore is speculation on side effects caused by GSC tweaking the system.

And on the other hand, you have the artifact mechanics that clearly progress from soc to cs to cop, i.e. they improve/modify the stats/uses of artifacts with every game, and if placed in that order, their modifications make more sense than if soc is in the middle. Crystal and Flash are good examples.

Also, I looked through all 36 artifact pages just now, reordering them doesnt create any description conflicts (since the descriptions are so random anyway).

Appealing for guidance, Chikubi 15:25, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

hmmm , since you done a great job , let it be i would say ? dont make it to hard ? then again we could feed a talk and see where it goes ? Dabur 08:37, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Good advice, I'll take it :) Chikubi 23:22, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Clear Sky Artifacts Edit

I've been playing Clear Sky for awhile now (around 20 in game days with probably three times as many emissions) and not one anomaly field has had its artifacts replenished. Before adding this to the wiki, though, I wanted to see if anyone else besides me had experienced this. 05:20, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

That's normal, they aren't supposed to replenish actually. This only happens in Call of Pripyat. Boredgunner (talk) 17:06, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
