The Teleport anomaly is a rare anomaly that appears in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Overview Edit

An uncommon anomaly found in a few locations throughout the Zone. Harmless in nature, contact with the Teleport causes one to be transported to another location. This anomaly does not spawn any artifacts.

During the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, when Scar reaches to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, there are a number of Teleport anomalies that are found throughout the area, which can be entered to reach toward his target. Similarly, in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, a single Teleport anomaly is found in the chamber containing the Wish Granter, which upon entering will bring forth the person toward the Wish Granter itself. Numerous other Teleport anomalies can also be seen outside the CNPP, which are used by the Monolith soldiers to prevent Strelok from reaching toward the end.

It appears that the Common Consciousness is capable of manipulating the Teleport anomalies to a degree. Many Monolith soldiers are often seen using these anomalies, and Strelok himself is forcibly warped outside from the Monolith Control Center, after refusing the C-Consciousness offer. It is unknown why the Teleport anomalies leading up to the C-Consciousness themselves were not changed or removed, as a security measure to prevent potential intrusion.
