Veterans are skilled stalkers, better equipped than Experienced but still not as good as Experts, usually equipped with medium to heavy gear, and mid to high tier weaponry.
Equipment[]
Veteran stalkers field mid- or high-tier weaponry and armor. Their choice of weaponry includes:
- AKM-74/2U, used by Loners, Bandits, and Strelok.
- AKM-74/2, used by Loners, Bandits, Mercenaries, and Duty.
- AC-96/2, used by Loners, Duty, and Spetsnaz.
- TRs-301, used by Loners, Mercenaries, and Freedom.
- IL 86, used by Loners and Freedom.
Armor used by Veteran stalkers:
- Sunrise suit, used by Loners.
- Bandit jacket, used by Bandits.
- Trenchcoat, used by Bandits.
- Wind of Freedom and Guardian of Freedom, used by Freedom.
- PSZ-9d Duty suit, PSZ-9Md Universal Protection, PS5-M Universal Protection, and PSZ-9d Duty armour used by Duty.
- Monolith Suit and Scientific Monolith suit used by Monolith.
- Radiation suit used by Loners, Mercenaries, and Monolith.
