Ingame item description.

Vinca is a type of drug appearing in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Background[edit | edit source]

There are more than enough things in The Zone that cause bruises, abrasions, lacerations, and other wounds. All these things, if not taken care of, would eventually conclude to bleeding and a bleeding stalker is pretty much a dead stalker. Thus, Vinca may save a stalker's life on more than one occasion.

Remember, stalker: Bloodsuckers didn't earn their name just to scare little children.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The drug only appears in Call of Pripyat. Vinca is similar to bandages in practical purpose but can mend bleeding faster. However, it is not that common and is difficult to get.

Acquisition[edit | edit source]

Like all the other drugs, Vinca is sold by medics and carried by stalkers on occasion. It can also be bought from Professor Hermann. It can also be found in some stashes.
