The Heckler & Koch MP5 9x18 is a unique weapon featured only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Description
Modified H&K MP5, now chambered for the more common 9 x 18mm rounds. The owner of the weapon did not want anyone to use this gun, so when he was faced with a large number of Bandits, he went to the back of an anomaly filled tunnel and died there. The gun is very rarely found in perfect condition.
Characteristics
The weapon has been refitted to accomodate more widespread 9x18mm rounds. It can be equipped with a silencer.
Acquisition
The weapon can be found in the corpse of a Loner stalker found in the tunnel filled with anomalies near the entrance to the Agroprom Institute.
Appearances in other games
Though there is no specific, pre-upgraded version of the MP5 exists in either game, both S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat offer a caliber change to 9x18mm as an upgrade option for the MP5.
Notes
- The inventory icon shows a Heckler & Koch HK53, which is a compact assault rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm ammunition. A number of Builds use this icon to represent the MP5.
